CyberVault Foundation protects and empowers communities navigating digital threats and online vulnerabilities
We are a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and empowering people navigating digital threats and online vulnerabilities. We strengthen Africa’s digital resilience through practical tools, responsive support, and technology that advances human rights, inclusion, and justice.
We blend technology, policy, and community engagement to create safer digital environments for activists, journalists, and everyday users. Our work spans six key areas that together build digital resilience and defend human rights online.
We conduct digital risk assessments, deliver tailored trainings in secure communication and data protection, and provide emergency cyber-response for attacks and online threats.
We drive research and campaigns on digital rights, freedom of expression, and internet governance, while influencing inclusive, feminist tech policies across national and regional levels.
We use technology strategically to counter misinformation, hate speech, and violent extremism linking digital innovation with climate action, sustainability, and food security.
Through community-centered workshops, digital safety clinics, and feminist programs like HerFirewall, we equip people with the tools and confidence to stay secure.
We produce toolkits, field studies, and security protocols that inform safer practices for African defenders and organizations working in sensitive contexts.
We integrate digital tools into the fight for food justice recognizing that food security today is also a digital issue that demands innovation, protection, and data rights.
